| Women Empowerment Programs - Gender Resource Centre |
| As an initiative to improve the status of women in slum communities, Basic Foundation has established a Gender Resource Center The center, envisaged as an instrument to bring social, economic and legal empowerment of women, acts as a one stop shop that provides legal counseling and advise, nutrition and health education, clinical treatment for common gynecological and general ailments, remedial education, non formal education, adult literacy classes for women and information and guidance for accessing the benefits of various schemes/facilities of govt. The GRC also aims to provide social empowerment and economic initiatives like skill training building, SHG formation, micro enterprise and entrepreneurship development. |
| Legal Literacy and formation of Mahila Panchayats |
| Basic Foundation has formed more than 100 Mahila Panchayats in rural and slum communities, and has thus established a community based informal judicial system run by women themselves where they hear and counsel the cases of domestic violence, marital discord, dowry demands etc. The skills and capacities of Mahila Panchayat members and the general community are being strengthened through special legal awareness camps and interactions with lawyers, local police personnel and family counselors. |

| SMART-Skill for Market Training Program |
| Basic foundation is being implementing a program termed as SMART Vocational Training Centre along with Tech Mahindra Foundation in Delhi & Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Basic Foundation is endeavoring to impart skills to underprivileged youths and creating a work force of young professional who are engaged in dignified employment with various MNCs and are economically self dependent as well as backing their families emotionally and economically. |
| STeP: Smile Twin E-Learning Programme |
| Along with The Smile Foundation, Basic Foundation is facilitating STeP Job oriented course for youth ages 18-32. In a cycle of four months forty learners are instructed by the trained and experienced-Spoken English, Basic-IT, and Personality Development & Retail Management teachers. The classes offer learners a competitive advantage in the workforce by teaching them to speak English fluently, specifically for conversational and business dialogues. Ultimately, participants receive better placement in their professions. This program is a catalyst towards development in an area where poverty prevents young people to grab the opportunity toward their career goals. |

| HEALTH CARE PROGRAMS |
| Targeted Intervention (TI) Project for HIV/Aids |
Basic Foundation since its very inception in 2009 had been concerned with health status and wellness situation of vulnerable communities specifically women and children. This concerned took Basic Foundation to work with the communities in preventing HIV/AIDS and STDs/STIs and spreading the awareness.
Basic Foundation has been running a T.I project in the South Delhi with collaboration with DSACS which stands for targeted intervention project has been working in different areas of South Delhi for MSM/TG to prevent HIV infection amongst them. |

| Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, Namami Gange & Amrit |
| Basic Foundation with the support of Uttar Pradesh State Ganga River Conservation Agency, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh is doing the IEC work and motivate households of district Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh to connect with sewer network. Along with Ghaziabad Urban Local Body Basic Foundation educates households and informs them about the benefits of the household connections of sewage and water so that no untreated water is discharged into the River Ganga. |

- Cultural Mapping of Indian Folk in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Tripura and Manipur as a part of the Arts Education Program.
- In order to gain a better understanding of trucker’s activity and its relation to HIV/AIDS. With the partnerships of Apollo Tyres Foundation five needs assessment studies was undertaken in below states:
